A long winded update and (somewhat) triumphant return...

So it's 1 AM and as I stare into my second cup of coffee I've decided to take up blogging again in hopes of not half ass-ing and abandoning it half way through. I'm leaving the old blog behind in lieu of this new one, so I'm just going to leave it at that.

Life has been extremely busy this semester at school. Between tests giving me the one-two punch on many occasions I'm glad to say I've struggled through and the semester is finally almost over. I've got two tests on my plate coming up this Thursday to put the final chapter into my Communications minor and then outward and onward to take my last test in my Management class on the 13th of May. I sit here late at night unable to sleep because of my love for hot caffeine flavored drinks avidly trying to read my notes for class, but only ending up browsing the internet aimlessly until I'm ready to fall asleep. I think it hit me the other day that as I put a close to this semester I only have one more year here at Texas A&M and then it's into the real world for the rest of my life. So many thoughts circle my head as I have no clue on where I'm going to end up upon graduation, but I'm sure everything will fall into place as things always seem to.

Enough with my incessant rambling on school, to the games I suppose! As I'm avidly yearning to collect more and more games for my Nintendo DS, I picked up two more titles today to round me out to 66 games in my (scarily) growing collection. The newest additions would be GTA Chinatown Wars that Best Buy had on sale for $20 this week starting today, and then a single lone copy of Professor Layton that I picked up at Blockbuster since they were selling it brand new for a mere $10. I find that I seem to take more enjoyment out of collecting these titles rather than playing them, which I think in my mind is becoming somewhat of a problem, but I digress. The rest of the gaming forefront has been mostly limited to my PC as I've been trying to finish up Devil May Cry 4 on the home desktop, along with playing the new survival content on Left 4 Dead with a friend. The only unfortunate thing about gaming the last couple of months has been the ever growing pain of studying like mad for all my tests this semester, but I'm hoping to knock a good chunk of my backlog out this summer since for once, I'll have the time to do so.

On the T.V. forefront, I've been doing quite a bit of watching, something that rarely occurs. I recently finished the first season of the show "The Big Bang Theory" which I found to be quite hilarious, and I'm thinking about picking the season up for myself. With the shameful amount of reality T.V. I've been watching finally over, I'm glad that I no longer have to obsess with what's going on with Rock of Love Bus (which I really didn't care for the girl he picked in the end) or with the second season of "From G's to Gents" (which IMO had a pretty good finale).

I think that's going to do it for my first blog post back, I'll probably be posting here more often as I find the time to, as I'd really like to start posting again. Be looking for my posts in the future and I'll be looking to continue to update them. Until next time, Phil out.
